Prime Minister inspects construction progress of Port No. 5 and No. 6 of Lach Huyen Port Area

On the afternoon of May 13, during his working program in Hai Phong City, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected a number of key projects and works in the city, including the investment project to build Wharf No. 5 and No. 6 of Lach Huyen Port Area invested by Hateco Group.

The Prime Minister, together with leaders of several central ministries and agencies and leaders of Hai Phong City, inspected the Project of Wharf No. 5 and No. 6 of Lach Huyen Port.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh encouraged and visited leaders and construction units at the construction site of Wharfs No. 5 and No. 6.

The Prime Minister listened to investor Hateco report on the construction progress of Wharf No. 5 and No. 6 of Lach Huyen port area.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hopes that investor Hateco will closely follow the design and coordinate closely with consulting units, while Hai Phong City will ensure the source of raw materials and security and order at the construction site.  

Construction units are busy at the construction site of the project of Wharf No. 5 and No. 6 of Lach Huyen port area.  This is the largest and most modern deep-water port in the North and the first smart port in Vietnam. It is expected to be put into operation in the first quarter of 2025.
