HATECO SUMMER RETREAT 2026: A JOURNEY INTO HERITAGE – CONNECTING EXCELLENCE

HUE, Vietnam — From July 17 to 20, 2026, over 300 members of our Hateco Group family and member companies gathered in the former imperial capital of Hue for our annual summer retreat under the theme “A Journey into Heritage – Connecting Excellence.” Far more than a recurring corporate event, the retreat provided a meaningful opportunity for us to deepen connections, recharge, and generate renewed momentum for the next stage of our development journey.


From 17 to 20 July 2026, more than 300 employees from Hateco Group and member companies gathered in the former imperial capital of Hue for the Group’s annual summer retreat under the theme “A Journey into Heritage – Connecting Excellence.” More than a recurring employee engagement activity, the programme offered an opportunity for participants to strengthen connections, recharge and gain renewed motivation for the next stage of Hateco’s development.

Throughout the journey, the delegation visited several of Hue’s most famous cultural and historical landmarks, including the Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. Participants also enjoyed traditional Hue folk songs performed on the Perfume River and discovered the distinctive cultural heritage of the former imperial capital.

Alongside the cultural excursions, an energetic Team Building programme brought employees together through a series of collaborative challenges. The activities created a lively atmosphere while reinforcing teamwork, solidarity and closer connections among the Group’s different business units.

The Gala Dinner, held under the theme “A Journey into Heritage – Connecting Excellence,” was one of the highlights of the programme. Inspired by the concept of the “Hateco Heritage Train,” the event retraced the Group’s development journey through a series of symbolic “stations,” each representing major projects, landmark developments and important corporate milestones.

A key moment of the evening was the “Departure of the Hateco Heritage Train” ceremony, symbolising the beginning of a new chapter in Hateco’s development journey, driven by renewed ambitions and strategic goals.

Addressing the event, Chairman of Hateco Group Mr Tran Van Ky expressed his sincere appreciation to all employees for their dedication, sustained efforts and strong spirit of companionship throughout the Group’s development.

He emphasised:“Hateco’s most valuable asset does not lie in physical structures or projects, but in the people who work tirelessly every day to create those values.”

The Chairman also extended special recognition to employees who, due to the nature of their responsibilities, remained at sea, on construction sites and across project locations and were therefore unable to attend the programme in Hue.

Regardless of positions or places of work, the quiet contributions of every employee are deeply valued and recognised by the Group’s leadership. These contributions remain an essential foundation for Hateco’s continued growth and development.

During the Gala Dinner, the Group also officially introduced InterCentral, an iconic transit-oriented development (TOD), while announcing a range of preferential policies exclusively available to Hateco employees.

The evening also featured a prize draw for employees who participated in the project demand survey, along with a Lucky Draw offering a wide selection of valuable household appliances imported and exclusively distributed by Hateco Logistics. These activities contributed to a vibrant atmosphere and brought many moments of excitement and enjoyment to the programme.

As the “A Journey into Heritage – Connecting Excellence” programme came to a close, each member of the Hateco family returned not only with memorable experiences from Hue, but also with renewed energy, stronger bonds and greater confidence in the journey ahead.
