HATECO SPONSORS B.FEST 2026: CONNECTING VIETNAMESE AND BELGIAN CULTURES IN THE HEART OF HA LONG HERITAGE

On October 2–3, 2026, at 30/10 Square, Ha Long Ward, Quang Ninh Province, Hateco Group sponsored the Belgian Culture and Culinary Festival B.FEST 2026. The event opened an international cultural exchange space while creating further opportunities to connect communities and businesses between Vietnam and Belgium.

Following five successful seasons, B.FEST was held in Quang Ninh for the first time. Under the theme “Heritage in the Heart of Heritage,” the festival brought the distinctive culture and cuisine of the Kingdom of Belgium to Ha Long – home to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site of Ha Long Bay. The event created a unique encounter between different cultural traditions in a setting deeply rooted in local heritage and identity.

B.FEST 2026 was jointly organized by the Embassy of Belgium in Vietnam, the Belgian-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam (BeluxCham), and the DEEP C Industrial Zones Consortium, with the sponsorship of Hateco Group and partner enterprises.

Throughout the two-day event, visitors experienced Belgian cuisine, enjoyed Vietnamese-European musical performances, and participated in creative workshops and the Passport Journey. The centerpiece of the festival was The Iconic Ship – an installation inspired by the red sails on Ha Long Bay, forging a link between the imagery of the heritage region and the international exchange spirit of B.FEST.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Van Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hateco Group, emphasized: "In business, we frequently discuss capital, technology, infrastructure, logistics, and markets. Yet behind all those elements lie human beings. Culture is what enables people to understand one another, cuisine brings people closer together around the table, and music bridges distances. Festivals like B.FEST remind us that, despite hailing from different nations, we share an immense amount in common."

At B.FEST 2026, the Hateco pavilion showcased an overview of the Group's four pillar operational sectors while providing detailed insights into several ongoing real estate initiatives, such as the TOD InterCentral urban development project in Hanoi and the social housing project in Quang Ninh.

Alongside project showcases, the display area featuring household goods supplied by Hateco Logistics drew significant visitor interest. Featured items included Blue Diamond crystal-ceramic non-stick pans (Belgium) alongside induction cookers from Cuisinart (USA) and Bosch (Germany). Visitors engaged in hands-on product experiences and received promotional vouchers, with a total of 200 vouchers issued, valid from October 2, 2026, to January 2, 2027.
