Hateco Logistics cooperates in trade with Central-Eastern Europe and Asia-Europe regions
On November 27, 2019 in Hanoi, the Business Forum of the International Bank for Economic Cooperation (IBEC) was held. Within the framework of the event, Hateco Logistics Joint Stock Company (Hateco Logistics) signed a 3-party Memorandum of Understanding with IBEC and Vietinbank.
IBEC is an international financial institution consisting of eight member countries (Bulgaria, Vietnam, Mongolia, Poland, the Russian Federation, Romania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic) established in 1963 within the framework of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance (former SEV Bloc), headquartered in Moscow, Russian Federation. The main tasks of IBEC are trade finance, credit granting, multilateral payments and providing other banking services to support member countries in promoting foreign economic relations and economic development.

The forum is an opportunity for IBEC and related parties to share information, learn and cooperate, especially, opening up many opportunities for IBEC to promote its role as an important gateway to connect and promote trade cooperation between Vietnam and IBEC member countries in particular and the Central-Eastern Europe and Eurasia region in general on the basis of promoting and making the most of the advantages of signed free trade agreements.
The Forum was attended by representatives of the State Bank of Vietnam; IBEC delegation; Government agencies; commercial banks; Vietnamese and Russian enterprises and international financial institutions operating in Vietnam. The main theme of this Forum is “Enhancing trade cooperation between Vietnam and the Central and Eastern Europe and Eurasia regions”. In her opening speech, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong introduced IBEC and its role in supporting trade development in Vietnam.
In her speech, Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong hoped that through this Business Forum, the parties would initially explore the needs and possibilities for cooperation in order to maximize the inherent potential of each party, towards effective and sustainable cooperation in the future. As a State management agency for monetary activities, the State Bank of Vietnam will always accompany and actively support the relevant parties to realize the set goals.

Within the framework of this event, Hateco Logistics Joint Stock Company (Hateco Logistics) signed a 3-party Memorandum of Understanding with IBEC and Vietinbank. The Memorandum of Understanding establishes a framework for cooperation and encourages funding for the Hateco Logistics Center Construction Project in Sai Dong B Industrial Park (Huynh Tan Phat Street, Long Bien District, Hanoi City) with a total estimated investment of VND 1,093 billion.
