Within the framework of the program "Talks on trade relations and the Vietnam-EU Free Trade Agreement", on April 9, 2019, in Hanoi, the Vietnam-European Joint Venture consisting of 3 corporations Besix- Boskalis- Hateco, a joint venture between leading corporations in investment, construction and business in the field of logistics, officially signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation "Smart Logistics Center Project in Ca Mep Ha, Ba Ria Vung Tau".

This is considered a project that will realize modern, smart logistics services according to the latest standards in Europe, providing full on-site logistics services, production and warehouse, container yard and office & residential areas. Based on the need for cooperation, in line with the policy of building and developing Vietnam's seaports, Hateco Group commits to support the country in the investment licensing process, master planning and operation of seaport development in the future.

Besix and Boskalis commit to providing and supporting optimal, environmentally friendly technology, ensuring social security. In the coming time, the VN-EU Joint Venture (Vietnam-Besix-Boskalis) will carry out the necessary procedures, promptly deploy research, survey terrain, geology and prepare project proposal documents to submit to the People's Committee of Ba Ria Vung Tau province and relevant state agencies.
