Mr. Tran Van Ky - Chairman of Hateco Group also discussed the construction progress of Terminals No. 5 and No. 6 - Hateco Hai Phong International Container Port Company belonging to Hai Phong seaport. The target is to officially put the port into operation in February 2025.
When Hateco Hai Phong International Container Port of Hateco Group comes into operation, AP Moller Maersk Group plans to bring many large-tonnage container ships to Hai Phong, contributing to the transportation of import and export goods from Vietnam directly to European and American countries and vice versa; at the same time, the Group will build warehouses, yards as well as invest in logistics services, means of transport (water and land) using environmentally friendly energy.

Also here, Mr. Robert Maersk Uggla - Chairman of APMoller Holding Group expressed his feelings about the achievements of cooperation with Hateco Group, as well as the strategic transformation process of Maersk and APMT in Vietnam with a vision for the next hundred years. Mr. Robert Maersk said that Maersk Group sees many potentials and great opportunities in Vietnam and wishes to contribute more to the development of Vietnam, especially investment opportunities to build large, modern deep-water container ports as well as strategic logistics projects in Vietnam.
