Lao Cai province delegation visits Hateco logistics models

Implementing the 2024 Work Program, recently, a working delegation of Lao Cai province led by comrade Dang Xuan Phong - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, together with comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of a number of departments and branches of Lao Cai province, had a survey trip and worked with capable and experienced enterprises investing in logistics projects, including Hateco Group.

The delegation of Lao Cai province visited projects related to the logistics activities of Hateco Group such as: Bac Tien Phong Industrial Park - Quang Ninh, Wharf No. 5, No. 6 Lach Huyen Port Area - Hai Phong, ICD Long Bien - Hanoi. At the surveyed locations, the delegation had discussions and shared with the leaders of Hateco Group about the potential and strengths of Lao Cai. With the advantage of border gate economy, the potential and space for developing logistics services in Lao Cai is huge. However, turning potential into strengths is still a big challenge for the locality. Therefore, the field survey trip contributed to the orientation and planning of the development of the province's logistics industry, aiming to call for and attract investment in logistics projects in Lao Cai province, while creating a breakthrough with the ambition to become a growth pole, connecting the Vietnamese and ASEAN markets with the Southwest region of China. The Lao Cai Provincial Party Secretary said: The delegation was particularly impressed with the integrated logistics model from dry ports, inland waterway ports, to seaports that Hateco has been investing in, constructing, and operating. 
With the viewpoint of always supporting and accompanying the locality, Mr. Hoang Dinh Tuan - General Director of Hateco Group said: The Group is ready to participate in providing logistics services in Lao Cai with a variety of services to ensure conditions to promote the potential for economic development in the border gate area. The working trip is an opportunity for Lao Cai province and Hateco Group to share information and orientations for logistics development in the coming time.
