Investment promotion program between Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee and Hateco Group
At the invitation of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, on the afternoon of March 13, Hateco Group had a working session with the Standing Committee of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee within the framework of the program of exchanging cooperation and investing in a number of logistics projects and industrial parks in the province.
Attending the working session on behalf of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee were comrades: Dang Xuan Phong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Vu Xuan Cuong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Hoang Giang, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of a number of departments and branches; leaders of the City and Bat Xat District People's Committees.
On the side of Hateco Group, there were Mr. Tran Van Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group; Hoang Dinh Tuan, General Director of the Group, leaders of a number of member companies and specialized departments.
On behalf of Hateco Group, Mr. Tran Van Ky - Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Group expressed his gratitude for the thoughtful reception of the comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, leaders of the People's Committee and departments of the province and affirmed that with a favorable location, attractive investment environment, especially the open-minded spirit of the provincial leaders, Lao Cai has many opportunities to promote investment and business cooperation in the field of logistics.

According to Hateco Group, the investment in building a logistics center combined with a dry port is one of the important items, in line with the general development planning orientation of both the economy, border gate economy and logistics development planning. Accordingly, Hateco will conduct in-depth research to establish an investment project to build a logistics center integrated with a dry port in the Ban Vuoc area and will have a specific report to the province in the near future.

At the program, leaders of Lao Cai province, representatives of departments and branches informed about the potential, strengths, investment attraction orientation in the logistics sector of the province in the coming time and the production and business activities of enterprises in the industrial park.

Speaking at the meeting, the Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee said: Since the field survey in mid-February, local leaders have highly appreciated the prestige and capacity of Hateco enterprises in existing fields. Currently, the province is making efforts to develop the border economy, attract investment and enhance competitiveness. With the goal of becoming one of the eight key border economic zones of the country, striving for an import-export turnover of 10 billion USD by 2025, the province has promoted investment attraction, turning Lao Cai Border Economic Zone into a large and leading logistics center of the country, developing in many sectors and fields. The Secretary of Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee hopes that on that basis, Hateco Group will research and support the province in the fields that are Hateco's strengths. In particular, further research on the investment project to build a logistics center integrated with a dry port in the Ban Vuoc area. The Provincial Party Secretary believes that with the participation of a prestigious enterprise like Hateco, Lao Cai will achieve the goal of developing the economy, maintaining foreign relations and contributing to border protection, contributing not only to the province but also to the whole country.

Before entering the official working session, the delegation of Hateco Group had a working session at Kim Thanh International Road Border Gate No. II and visited some industrial parks expected to receive logistics investment in the near future.
