Handing over the decision to appoint new CFO of HHIT

On January 2nd, 2025, Hateco Hai Phong International Container Terminal (HHIT) held a ceremony to announce and award the decision to appoint Ms. Tran Lan Phuong to the position of Chief Financial Officer.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Van Ky, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hateco Group; Chairman of the Board of Members of HHIT; representatives of the Board of Directors of the Group; the Board of Directors of member companies; and more than 200 employees of HHIT.

At the ceremony, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Chau, Head of the Human Resources Department of the HR-GA Department, represented HHIT to announce the decision appointing Ms. Tran Lan Phuong as Chief Financial Officer. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tien, General Director of HHIT, congratulated Ms. Tran Lan Phuong on being entrusted with the new task. He also hoped that in her new position, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong would continue to improve her learning spirit, professional experience, and management work and promote the spirit of solidarity for HHIT to develop further.

In her acceptance speech, Ms. Tran Lan Phuong thanked the Board of Directors of Hateco Group, the Board of Directors, and the staff of HHIT for their trust and assignment. According to Ms. Tran Lan Phuong, being appointed to the position of Chief Financial Officer is not only a source of pride but also a huge responsibility, and she is committed to making efforts and determination with the Board of Directors and staff to complete the tasks entrusted to her by the HHIT leadership.

HHIT is the unit implementing the investment project to build Terminals No. 5 and No. 6 of the Lach Huyen Port Area, Hai Phong City. When put into operation in the first quarter of 2025, it will be the most modern and largest deep-water container port project in Vietnam, operated according to the smart green port model. Currently, HHIT is a strategic partner of the world's largest seaport transport groups, such as Maersk and APM Terminals.

The appointment of young staff to senior leadership positions is in line with the general orientation of Hateco Group to create a team of qualified and capable successor leaders, meeting the trend of international integration and creating a driving force to promote the strong development of HHIT in particular and Hateco Group in general.
